Ubuntu-Depends |
The Ubuntu-Depends field is used to list dependencies that are required when installing a wpkg package on an Ubuntu operating system. This is only useful if you intend to use the package within a wpkg installation (opposed to installing the package directly on your Ubuntu system as a part of it all.)
This is useful to create micro environments that still require a certain number of packages to already be installed on the main operating system because you do not provide that functionality within your own wpkg environment.
The field can include package names and versions. Note that wpkg can automatically install those packages for you if not yet available. However, if already installed and the version is not a match, then it generates an error.
